Why learn commercial dance with us?

Commercial dance is bold, expressive and made for performance. It challenges dancers to learn choreography quickly, switch between styles and connect strongly with the music. At Stourbridge Dance Academy, students develop the polish and versatility needed on stage while training in an encouraging environment where individuality is celebrated.
Our street dance classes bring the same energy to street styles, while our freestyle and disco classes develop stamina, coordination and the confidence to bring out each dancer’s personality. Graded freestyle and disco classes follow the NATD syllabus, so pupils can work towards NATD dance examinations when they are ready. You can find every street, freestyle and disco class on our class timetable.
From weekly classes
to the SD Squad
Commercial and freestyle classes run on Monday and Tuesday evenings, graded disco runs on Thursday, and freestyle and street dance classes run on Saturday, all at our own spacious studios in the town centre.
Dancers who love to perform can also join the SD Squad, our performance troupe, with Junior and Senior groups that train each week and perform at selected events and shows. Find out more on our SD Squad page.
Your first trial class is free, and uniform is available from our online shop.
