We are incredibly proud to celebrate a fantastic achievement by two dedicated students from Stourbridge Dance Academy.
Both students have successfully passed their Student Freestyle Teachers examinations, each achieving an outstanding score of 90% and receiving a Highly Commended result.
This is an excellent accomplishment and reflects the commitment, discipline and knowledge they have developed throughout their training at SDA.
From learning dance to teaching it
Becoming a dance teacher requires more than being a confident performer. Students must develop a strong understanding of dance technique, communication and how to guide others safely and effectively.
Preparing for a teaching examination therefore marks an important new stage in a dancer’s journey. It allows students to build on their practical dance experience while beginning to develop the skills and confidence needed to support other dancers.
Achieving 90% demonstrates the high standard both students reached during their examination preparation. Their success is thoroughly deserved, and everyone at SDA is delighted to see their hard work recognised with Highly Commended results.
Supporting the next generation of dance teachers
At Stourbridge Dance Academy, students can begin dancing for enjoyment and progress through structured training, examinations, performances and teaching development.
Teacher training creates another valuable pathway for committed dancers. It gives them an opportunity to deepen their knowledge, take on greater responsibility and begin sharing their passion for dance with others.
These results are a wonderful example of what students can achieve through consistent training, determination and the right support.
